Kinky Concrete is a small object-making and photography studio in Brooklyn, started by Hungarian visual artist Júlia Standovár. Her work is inspired by the brutalist sculptures and buildings of Hungary, adding a feminine twist to a material heavily influenced by New York City.

Through the Kinky Concrete project, Júlia creates everyday objects, sculptures, and photo prints. While this website focuses primarily on her functional works, you can find her art works on Instagram at @_standovar.

Every item is custom-molded and poured by hand in layers, ensuring that each piece is entirely unique. The studio operates on a made-to-order, commission basis—simply let us know what you have in mind, and we will make it happen.
